Forbidden to See Us Scream in Tehran

Storyline:
The frontwoman for an Iranian death metal band risks everything as she plots to call the cops on her own underground concert in the hopes that the raid will help her secure her asylum in another country.

Description:
This project was the director’s first remote directing experience. He used to lead his team online from America in the stages of Iran. While this project was produced underground and was not authorized by law, all the agents of the group accepted this risk to play a part in the social freedom of women in Iran by making this film. Also, the use of a deaf child actor was one of the interesting challenges of the project.
